It was mostly the characters' charisma and the storylines that made people (including me) overlook the incredibly poor visuals. I mean, fucking Netflix of all things is trying to make a new animated adaptation of the manga. Their only goal is to make money off this franchise, but even they know how fucking subpar Toei’s work has been from the start.
