>>288074717Reading Lone Wolf and Cub, they don't really stay fresh, to be honest. A lot of the stories are pretty similar. But there is some variety in that a lot of the stories are just ways to explore some aspect of Japanese feudal life. I remember a very interesting one about river porters. Guys that carried shit across rivers and more or less prevented ferry services from existing to preserve their jobs.

Samurai, ronin, prisons, police, merchants, blacksmiths, pickpockets, farmers, prostitutes, street performers... There is a huge range of topics to go over, and I've seen some subjects in Kamui Den that it doesn't even touch.
