Even Golden Age is pretty middling.
Berserk is a traditional shoujo story written for men too insecure to read "manga for little girls". If GAfags gave any of them a chance (Riyoko Ikeda, Moto Hagio, Keiko Takemiya, Shinji Wada, Akimi Yoshida...) they would quickly realize how mediocre it is in comparison.
