I suppose you could do that, but that might be too many chapters per episode. I think 2 is more the norm for 4koma stuff, though this series is half and half. I'd prefer they do a cour per year and fill out some of the time in between chapters, since a month is skipped between chapters. That would be way more episodes than any studio would realistically do (72 episodes just for middle school and high school, plus however many for elementary school) but it's what I think would work the best. And I liked the original content that GoHands added to SYD. That would mean 1 chapter per episode (for 12 episodes), with the rest being original content.

Though in general the execution feels pretty different too, likely due to the difference in characters. There's still at least one character in middle school too. Hopefully the manga continues juggling characters well. Especially with Rui not going to the same school.
