>>288098650I would say that the way how it's depicted in K-On is uncommon. There's not much time to do fun activities while at school so stuff happens later in the day. Going on snack runs to the convenience store and then hanging around it while talking about nothing seems to be the most prominent activity in the day. It ultimately depends on how compatible and deep the friendship is between everyone involved.This is just from my observation and from the few times when I've been invited to join some classmates for an afterschool hangout so there might be more to it than just this.
