It didn't need to be 26 episodes, it's both dragged out and low budget so half it's problems would be cleared by being the same length as season 1 and 2.

When StrikerS is good, it's peak of the franchise good. Particularly Nanoha obliterating Quattro. Dr Spaghetti was also the best villain of the 3 series.
