Do you think you could create a hatsu good enough to be used in the series?
>>288102055transmutate nen into lethal poison, simple as
>>288102055you switch ages with your opponent as soon as you touch them plot twist, you prep for battles by touching a 110 year old
>>288103970Machi will probably do this
>>288102055I would create a hatsu with the properties of both rubber and gum.
>>288102055Not really but lets try anyway. An Emission Hatsu that allows the user to store nen in a timer, once started, the object would inject the user with the accumulated aura for the timer. So, for example, the person stores a day's worth of nen into it and sets the timer for an hour, they would get a small energy boost for an hour. if they set the timer to a minute, they would have a huge boost for a very short amount of time.Does this sound like something you would see in the series?
>>288102055Virus-type nen that grows stronger on its own. I permanently give everyone new I meet 1% of my power, involuntarily, up to 10% per day (so I don't kms). In return, this 1% I give them grows and makes them stronger for the rest of our lives. The catch is, I am constantly fed half of its gains. The more "intimate" I become with this person, ie touching, tasting, hearing, feeling them, developing bonds or rivalries, love or hatred, the more potent this virus becomes. And, the stronger someone is, the stronger my nen will make them, and thus the more nen I get back. Seeing Ging or Netero, once, in my life, might casually make me an average level hunter without any practice.
>>288103970your body would have to be able to withstand lethal poison. don't you have to be intimately familiar with the stuff you transmutate nen into?>>288105980What would this be? Specialist type nen?
>>288106083>don't you have to be intimately familiar with the stuff you transmutate nen into?Yeah that's one of the things that made Kilua impressive.>What would this be? Specialist type nen?Manipulation + Emission but it would need like 6 conditions to work and could be exorcised.
>>288102055Kastro but less shit.
>>288106083>your body would have to be able to withstand lethal poison. don't you have to be intimately familiar with the stuff you transmutate nen into?Going off of personality and the effect of his ability, I assume Yushohi is already a poison Transmuter. He conjures his stinger ball to act as the conduit, so he doesn't have to come in contact with it, and the substance that it uses to poison the target is a special transmuted poison. Basically like Bisky and Cookie-chan.
>>288102055With the current arc it opens the door for a lot of novel powers to shine so I think yes. I'll approach this as if I'm one of Morena's psychos and just got my 20th kill>Nen type: Transmutation>Occupation: Private Investigator>Type: Emissions>Ability name: Creep [Lurking in the Shadows]I mark a surface with my aura through touch with my hands. If someone touches that surface it causes either their hand or footprints to leave behind a mark visible only to me for a period of time in the shape of their actual hands and feet/shoes. If I'm not within 5 meters the mark will fade away within minutes. But if I'm in that range then the marks will persist indefinitely and I can trail the target to follow the path they make and/or see what they are interacting with. The thing is, anyone that touches that surface will start making marks so I need to suss out the physical characteristics of the person I want to track first to make sure I don't get confused (I.E. how big are their feet, how long is their stride, what would they be interacting with, what shape their hands are, etc). >>288106083>your body would have to be able to withstand lethal poisonNo it doesn't. Emit the aura first and then transmute it into poison. >don't you have to be intimately familiar with the stuff you transmutate nen into? It's just a matter of image training. Bungee gum is not a real substance but Hisoka could imagine the properties. And do you think Genthru was blowing himself up constantly to figure out how to emulate explosions for little flower? Killua's method of image training was just a product of his assassin background, I think a normal nen user would just go through a similar training to what Kurapika did where he just obsessively imagines the type of thing he wanted to conjure. Likely the reason transmutation and conjuration are on the same side of the hexagon.
>>288106854>>Nen type: I mean emissions. I had another ability in mind but scrapped the idea.
You want something either simple and versatile>Gon, Killua, Hisoka, Illumi, ZenoorWith a harsh condition that is easy for you personally to overcome>Netero, Morel, Kurapika, Kite, Meleoron
>>288102055Transmute nen into thrust, allowing flight and quick movement not reliant on current speed or position.
>>288107136This isn't transmutation but Emissions. Bloster and Riehlvelt both use this property to boost themselves. And the flight cards on GI also use emissions to envelope people and move them from A to B.
>>288102055There's a lot of abilities I'm surprised we haven't seen yet, like a Manipulator who fights with a gun and controls the bullets or an Emitter with telepathy or a Transmuter who does illusory stuff (Pariston might have this). But I created an ability once I really like called Walk the Earth. Using a shovel to dig holes, you bury objects in the ground (dirt, snow, whatever) then beckon a golem out of it using the object as its heart in the center of its body. The object informs the golem's "talent" but mostly they're just chunky servants. Revealing most of the "heart" to fresh air deactivates the golem and their size varies on how deep the object is buried (gaps or intrusions in the material prevent the ability from working, the substance must be consistent and compact - and solid enough, liquids don't work). I imagine them looking like the golems from Berserk: squat, stumpy retards.
>>288106083>your body would have to be able to withstand lethal poison. And that's the reason transmutation sucks ass. You can't do anything cool with it.
>>288102055>transmutation: condense surrounding air into a barrier>durability of the barrier is directly proportional to the assailant's confidence they can kill you>secondary enhancement effect: can inhale the condensed air for a temporary strength boost
>>288106287>would need like 6 conditions to work and could be exorcised. This is fair. Maybe all sensory contact has to be mutual. You won't gain my "boon" from me seeing you; you have to see me too. Likewise, taste, touch, scent, etc. Furthermore, this is a nen beast, and it has a mind of its own. I lay the basic contract, but I get it the power to do what needs to be done, for better or worse. It might steal 1% of a baby's life force and accidentally kill it, for all I know. I might not learn about this until years later. The contract might seem unfairly broken at first glance, but I would have to become careful around the sick, young, and elderly.
>Emission can do everything conjuration does but betterDo people actually believe this?
>>288107857>Do people actually believe this?Only if they fundamentally don't understand the difference between the two categories I guess.
