I'm currently watching the Kancolle anime (the 2015 one) but I only watched the first episode so far. What was surprising was how much they mentioned the admiral unlike it was the case in the Azur Lane anime. I watched the Shigure anime before when it was airing but not the Fubuki one. There the admiral appeared in person but I was aware this wasn't the case here. I don't know what to think about it. I don't like the use of CGI for the battles but I understand why they did it. I think I'm enjoying the anime but I need to watch more to decide if I actually like it.

Is KC worth getting into nowadays or is the game slowing down/ending soon? I like Azur Lane for the bote designs and lewd skins, but KC seems to focus more on the former rather than the latter from what I'm seeing. I got more and more into mecha musume and wwii warships. Abyss Horizon was based on the arcade version of Kancolle from what I've heard which resulted into some legal problems which could have been the reason for why it got disbanded. I didn't play Abyss Horizon or Warship Girls R that much, in truth I can't remember any of the Abyss Horizon models but I remember the menus and the intro. The intro where the girl quotes Nietzsche "When you stare at the abyss, the abyss stare back at you." which made me think that there will be some epic and mystic plotline in the game and there was some hidden secret in the deep sea which the game plot will resolve eventually. I didn't play Abyss Horizon or Warship Girls R that much but they had their charm and I miss them although Warship Girls R still has a chineae server with new updates and I think also the japanese server still.I still very rarely play AL, I often install it then play a bit and then delete it and install and play it again after several months or even one or two years but I lost interest and the design philisophy and the game as a whole lost its wwii theme. It does feel like an average gacha game and not wwii mecha musume. I try out the Kancolle browser game. I hope the plugin works, translates it and I don't have to use a VPN every time I want to play it.
