EoE was what the fans wanted because they thought the series ending was too positive. the rebuilds are the fuck you to the fanbase, anon. hence why he hooks up with oc donut steel girl and creates a world where eva doesnt exist (that and anno is a hack)

That is rather odd.
I did like the original ending of the tv series. Abrupt, yes but at least it does give a conclusuion for Shinji. Flawed sure but I don't see why EoE really needed to happen or even the rebuilds.
