A farewell to Ruka who is being removed from the story.
And nothing of value was lost
>>288146302People always say this but she's too popular to remove right now (unless they're axing this soon)
>>288146372smoke and fire anon>popularvery funny
>>288146372Proof?
>>288146513I made it the fuck up.
>>288146372It's pretty obvious why anyone would defend the most hated girl.
>>288146302I hate how she conveniently solves the no gf problem he was bitching about but he almost immediately goes "uh no aktually I dont want this I want to chase the fake gf". Is the mangaka even trying? You insert his girl in the middle of the perfectly fine love triangle between MC, fake gf, and ex gf, and render her pointless just like that.
>>288146761He gets enough action already without the psycho.
>>288147205
>>288146372I also don't believe this but I accept the fact it's gonna happen sooner or later for the story to advance. you can't finish it without resolving her story and he's obviously ending up with Chizuru so we gotta accept Ruka's end is near
>>288147380Not next chapter, but I'm going to go with sooner.
>>288147380>he's obviously ending up with ChizuruEw I hope not. Being the lead girl should not automatically give you the right to win any bowl by default. It would be a garbage ending because she would have in no way earned it especially now. And I don’t think anyone can write Ruka out this far into the story without also concluding Mizuhara, and the author tried. His attempts to put an eraser into Ruka’s existence during co-habitation has so far met with extreme criticism not because people liked her, but because the personal bias for Mizuhara’s bare ass was so obvious when Reiji went a hundred chapters without a single Ruka appearance. Maybe he’s afraid of her ribbon power that can lead her to an absolute victory or something…the setup is there…
>>288147962>let's do the quint thing again and have the unpopular girl winYeah because that was so popular (it wasn't)This is a moot point though since the author already spoiled the ending, the winner is confirmed.
>>288148032The author doesn’t really know his own ending. Think of this like another Berserk. Reiji is just winging it post Golden Age until everything starts to click. It probably won’t. They will reach Elf Island (Paradise 2.0, maybe the International arc) then Griffith (Mami, Ruka, Umi, another character) will probably steal the Casca of this series away (Mizuhara, Kazushit) from Guts (Kazushit) and then it ends without a proper conclusion. Kaguya, another romcom, had the same issue of stalling for the money at one point but it was very clear what it was trying to be and where it wanted to go. I don’t think Reiji even knows where his Boat arc is going and he’s admitted that before.
>>288148239It sounds like you have actually read Berserk, which is only going to devalue your opinion since that shit is gay, as in literally gay.And bringing up Kaguya isn't helping your point, since the obvious couple for the whole show stayed a couple.>Reiji Knows where this is going and has said as much, it's about the journey not the destination.
>>288148436The journey is kind of shit. The destination looks kind of shit. I would have rather wasted my time doing something else than reading this trash but here we are.
>>288148498Not enough male on male sex for you?You could always read Berserk again.
>>288147962>Being the lead girl should not automatically give you the right to win any bowl by defaultI agree but it's far too late in this situation, the whole story has been leading up to this point and it's not going back.
>>288148498>The journey is kind of shitnah, and I don't think you truly believe this. you could have gotten off the ride any time but you ended up here.
>>288148538Since you like bringing up the topic of gay sex (your favorite topic) so much yourself i’ll pass.>>288148582>I agree but it's far too late in this situation, the whole story has been leading up to this point and it's not going back.It has been going nowhere. There’s no difference from the end of Hawaiians up to now, the story and characters hasn't really led anywhere. Mizuhara said no before but I guess after a thousand times it still wasn’t really clear enough.
>>288148582>The Devil is a Part-Timer! (heh)Are you thinking of something in particular where this happened or just hypothetically?
>>288148684
It's over.
>>288146372In the anime she's ll be gone (if not already) because cohabitation starts soon.
I think the shame of having Ruka being ignored for so long just to have fun with the rental whore won’t go away. She might be an automatic loser heroine the protagonist rejects deep in his heart and she might not be a main or important character in this love story but watching her get treated like this for no reason is truly sickening. It bothers me this was allowed to continue this long.
>>288150241What treatment do you think she deserves from the guy who doesn't like her?
>>288150287>What treatment do you think she deserves from the guy who doesn't like her?At the very least basic human respect. Even if she is not liked at all as a person she doesn’t deserve to be treated less than a pile of dirt and discarded like unwanted leftovers. Because this is what’s actually happening when the pov is focusing so much on romancing Chizuru while Ruka is still the girlfriend not knowing anything that’s going on and at the same time being cheated on and lied to.Somebody has to ask. Is the author genuinely ok with having a Chizuru end like this? I have to wonder.
>>288150392You have to give respect to get respect.see >>288146509None of the characters actually consider her the girlfriend, everyone in this conversation knows the full context.
>>288150424>None of the characters actually consider her the girlfriend, everyone in this conversation knows the full context.Even Mini, with all the conspiring backstabbing things she did to Ruka when she wasn’t looking for hundreds of pages, still acknowledged her as a legitimate girlfriend from day 1 of meeting her. Basic respect shouldn’t need to be earned and from her actual boyfriend she doesn’t even manage to get that. It’s messed up.
>>288146302She getting killed off?
>>288150487>NoneAnd this includes Ruka herself, that's why she's begging him to accept her as a sidepiece.
>>288150517Probably not even with her heart making it a possibility. Her arc is just reaching a natural ending point with her kicking the dog.
>>288150517Hopefully.
>>288148642>get off the ride years ago>ride pops up in feed every once in a while>"journey still sucks, destination never">same news every time
>>288146302Good, then Rukafags can stop polluting the threads
>>288150241Ruka only has herself to blame, even F-Cup from Watari-kun xxx knew when to call it quits when the writing was on the wall but Ruka? She literally acknowledged Kazuya was still seeing Chizuru behind her back and then begged to be his side piece, she degraded her own value.
>>288150517It would be far too dark even for this series to have Ruka LITERALLY die but symbolically she will die, as in her role as Kazuya's fake cuckqueen menhera girlfriend will die, which is honestly for the best.
>>288148032It was weird seeing shippers on these threads go from "she isn't my first choice and a never ever but she's a solid second/third" to "yotsuba was never good and we never liked her" the second she actually won
>>288152606Miku polled as most popular here and in Japan, with Yots having a quarter of her support here. Only Ichika was less liked.
>>288147962>the setup is there…What fucking setup? Ruka is a clown, through and through, there is no setup for her victory, nobody in the fucking story takes her seriously:To Chizuru, she pushed Kazuya to date her just to keep her quietTo Mami, she only considered a teamup for her own goalsTo Mini, lmao, do I even need to say it?And to Kazuya himself, he's never really valued Ruka, yea, he's becoming more away of her "beauty" lately but he still only considers her an onahole, he doesn't think anything of Ruka herself, any girl could take Ruka's placeThe only ones who care about Ruka are Rukafags who are just as delusional as she is.
