Is it good? Should I watch the anime or read the manga?
>>288162039Man remember when people just tried things for themselves. They'd see a book or a show they'd be interested in and tried a chapter or an episode then they might come online and share their thoughts on the matter. Maybe they liked it, maybe they didn't, but the important thing was they had a genuine opinion of their own that they developed from having an actual sense of taste cultivated by engaging with their hobby instead of just asking people to vet everything for them. Those were good days. Fuck you, OP. I hope you stub your toe.
>>288162322I did try watching it, thank you for asking. By episode 4 I was thoroughly unengaged with the story, characters and the setting. I was asking for opinions to see if I should keep at it, hoping the anime will get better, or drop it. But looks like asking for impressions of those who already familiar with the material is too much for some people.
>>288162039Only thing i remember from it was the ending.
>>288164125In a good or bad way?
>>288165397A good way. Thats all i say.
>>288164125 That’s honestly the biggest compliment you can give it. It’s one of *those* endings that just sticks in your brain whether you want it to or not.If OP was bored by ep 4, I’ll be real: the tone doesn’t suddenly become a nonstop thrill ride. It stays kinda goofy + episodic for a while. But when it pivots, it **pivots**. The last stretch is where all the emotional weight actually cashes in.Manga handles the buildup better though, and the ending hits harder there imo. Anime’s still worth it just for that final punch to the gut.Do with that information what you will, OP.
