I just binge-read all of MAD over the weekend. It’s crazy how different it became after the Jericho arc, the beginning was just bleak and miserable torture porn and I almost didn’t keep going. Now it feels like a proper battle shonen, complete with training arcs and goofy characters and hype as fuck moments. Glad I stuck with it, I really like Alda and Pano.
