Something I thought about while reading originally but kind of put it out of my mind because it didn't really make sense, does Hitogami actually know about Nanahoshi (and by extent, Shinohara)? He never once even acknowledges her existence (and Rudeus never mentions her to him), and the only time he mentions what we'd assume is Shinohara he says "some guy I don't recognize," and I kind of doubt that he'd have sent Rudeus to the university if he'd known Nanahoshi was there and she could tell him about the teleportation circles. I saw someone say that Orsted probably gave Nanahoshi the Dragon God Bracelet prior to giving it to Rudeus, but that doesn't really track when she doesn't seem to have met up with him at any point after going to Ranoa until after the fight in Volume 15, and Orsted gave it to him right after the fight.
