What I don’t get is why powerscaling third worlders want every character to be planet level or something stupid like universal. Look at dragon ball, the overall scale of battles has not changed at all since frieza despite the jumps in power. The level of speed is still shown the same visually to readers and so is the destructive impact. The planet shakes, a few mountains crumble and that’s it. Past a certain point you get diminishing returns

Basic alien footsoldiers with 2000-4000 power level each can purge whole planets of life. The man-made androids could have instantly killed freiza. The supporting cast of Z fighters, even the bottom tier ones, could have beaten Vegeta themselves if they were as strong as they were in cell saga. They just needed more time training with weighted clothing. At the same time goku can be gunned down by a simple laser even when his power level was in the millions. Its just a really fragile universe that can be destoryed just by hitting the gym a bit harder than other guys.
