Baal's got a good plan. Shiida was told to "be at Iruma's side" not to protect Iruma or capture him. Her purpose was to be there when Fenrir gores her in front of Iruma. Iruma's shocked and angry, so his instincts will lead him to try and protect his teacher. Except now Iruma's lashing out against a high rank Border Patrol officer AGAIN, this time to protect a known criminal from being arrested and brought to justice. So now they have a clear cut case to take him in, and nobody, even Sully, can protest it. And if and when the human truth comes out while Iruma's in custody, Baal can sweep in with a very easy political play to oust Sully.
Volume 50 will be a downer volume. First you finish the Merize arc, then you end the volume with this chapter.Excited to se that volume cover and what the sukima will be.
