That aside the octofuck looked ridiculous as a villain, especially for how gruesome his role was. I think if he had a few high effort, realistic looking monster face it'd worked better.Overall the arc had a good narrative but it still missed some of the emotional beats imo which further downgraded it. Also recycling the formula from the Rokugaku arc doesn't help (go hunt prey, turns out prey is a good guy but another badder guy is their enemy and Ichi has to help them save the day). Its probably partly because Ichi himself lacks in emotional stakes and personal drive but it'd work better if he gained that drive from one of his teammates (Kumugi, Dess or any other witch he could be paired with).

How many chapters do they have prepared before serialization starts? Like actually completed chapters instead of roughdrafts.
