Outside of the final bits its the worst route in the game.In the remake it’s essentially an entirely different scenario like Fate vs. UBW, and it’s crazy good.

I've only read Arc's route of the OG VN and I didn't care for it. It has some neat ideas and good atmosphere but that's about it. I wanna read the other arcs at some point but hearing that Ciel's route is just Arc's but worse makes me not wanna continue.

FGO has done irreparable damage to every property Type-Moon owns at this point. Tsukihime was at its best as an urban horror story about some sickly inbred guy going insane and fucking a vampire's cat. The power level didn't need to be escalated to match the retarded nonsense the gacha game has devolved into.

It's about an insider who was gaslit into thinking he is an outsider having transient encounters with the who's who of the setting. Too many of these kinds of stories follow the meta narrative of guy experiencing crazy exotic shit before becoming an adult and accepting a miserable mundane existence without a vampire babe warming your bed.
