I feel like the author messed up making the kid Regelith extremely smart in addition to overwhelmingly strong. Unlike Mob where he was a normal kid aside from the crazy psychic power, it doesn't seem very believable that the outclassed mentor could keep a supergenius fooled for 357 days.

>>288856710Good first chapter. Liked the initial setup for both the world and lead duo and there's plenty of potential to grow. The only thing I'm a bit apprehensive about is that the baseline powerlevel of the apprentice seems to be ridiculously high already and he can access it whenever he wants. I'd imagine this to be quite the challenge to keep things interesting going forward without going out of balance quickly. Still, best first chapter in a while.

>>288859286That whole panel of the city was ai. But it doesn't look like anything in the rest of the chapter was. The city also doesn't match the aesthetic of anything else. Hopefully that was just a one off thing and never happens again.
The really smacks if an artist having tons of time to illustrate their first few chapters and delivering something that they almost certainly won't be able to come even close to maintaining. But who knows, maybe we're seeing something special. I'll let it percolate for a while and see how it goes.
