I need someone to call me retarded or whatever, because I really do not like the Ranma 1/2 remake, and it's making me go insane.My biggest issue is that it tries too hard to adapt manga panel layouts literally. The old anime was NOT good after the reboot, but it at least adapted the panels to animation, and brought them to life (sometimes, not always. but more than the remake). In the remake all the layouts feel flat. The camera work feels uninspired. EVERY MOVEMENT FEELS INCREDIBLY WEIGHTLESS. I don't get it. People are eternally glazing this remake, and I just DO NOT SEE WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SEES! It has its moments. The fights are usually fairly decent, but like.... Ranma 1/2 is more of a SOL/Comedy than a battle anime? It's... Odd. Does anyone agree with me whatsoever, or am I just totally hopeless...
