The fact that the head of the school had Nao be on orders to get dragged away to isolated corners and be beaten up regularly gave the impression that there was a drastically different plan for who the founder of the school was at one point. It was basically another form of the abuse she previously went through but with a veneer that made her feel she could do something via the student council's "assignments." Have any of the writers for Charlotte ever said what the writing process for the show was like?
