A lot of people in these threads seem to think that its hard to come up with good transmutation abilities. They bring up the low amount of transmuters in the manga as proof. But i feel the opposite, here are 5 powerful transmuter hatsus i thought of. 1. Giving your nen the properties of a radio. Allows you record and also play audio from your nen. If you play a song during a fight and time your attacks to the beat, your attacks get way stronger. This 2nd part would be enhancement. You can also record people with no one knowing and no proof.2. Giving your nen the properties of mushrooms. You can use this to abosrb nutrients with your nen which can be used for healing or powering up. People can bit your nen for various psychedelic effects or cognitive boosts. Mushrooms are really freaky so you can weird with the properties. 3. Giving your nen the properties of a diamond. Makes your aura super hard so increases defense. You can use the hard edges for slashing attacks and gutting. You can refract light, and enhance the light that passes through your aura and turn it into lasers. 4. Giving your nen the properties of ink. You can draw things with your ink aura and then with conjuration the nen drawings come to live and become nen beasts based on what you draw. 5. Giving your nen the properties of magnetism. Self explanatory really. Attract metal objects and repel. Can combine with both enhancement and conjuration for cool affects.These are all transmuter hatsus that really on taking properties from one thing. And they avoid having to expose yourself to something super painful like killua. But transmuters can combine properties from multiple things like hisoka who takes properties from both rubber and gum. I came up with these a while back cuz i like thinking up hatsus. To be honest, I think the reason there are so few transumters compared to other categories is their powers are more cliche "anime" powers so togashi avoids them.
