But this is an Ashura quality fight, it's a good unusual matchup where neither fighter is a mirror, there's some good abilities and strategising and a flow back and forth in terms of who has the advantage, and Hatsumi realising that Kaneda was luring him in to point blank range was a great twist.

I've been reading SiR and it's really annoying how much Sandro ends up reusing the same character archetypes and plot beats.
