For some reason, the twitter algorhythm decided to start giving me nips talking about how this is the Arcana and Eclair show and Anna and Mikuru are very underdeveloped and irrelevant in comparison. One of their biggest worries is that with half of the show over already there may not be enough time for those two to get proper development and focus and the first half of the show didn't use its screentime well in that regard. Them being right or wrong, it got me thinking, and does this phenomenon have an actual name? Where the nominally Main/Lead character ends up having "their show" stolen by a nominally side-character and the show focus/plot/story revolves around that side-character?Furthermore, why does this happen? Why not make the story/show be about those characters? Why not make them the main characters to begin with? If the show is gonna be about them why not make it truly about them to begin with?
