Trying to push Amadoro this much so early might not be a good idea. It is a good place to expand on the "resolving the curses" issue, especially if we are to encounter the exorcist looking dude soon-ish. There's a bunch of cool loredrops (like the Regilith being both machine and catalyst for magic) but the pacing and story beats are just baffling. Last chapter it came out of nowhere that the Regilith was acting intelligently but no one ever mention it being operated by a demon (it is implied by the exposition but you'd think they'd talk about it when strategising, that sounds a massive point). Then this chapter the demon pilot gets shown out of nowhere, says nothing and attacks so we still don't understand if it's actually sentient or something. It takes a couple pages for the demon to suddenly start talking revealing that indeed he's intelligent, alive and in control of the situation. That's very awkwardly paced. The lame attempt at characterising the minister after keeping him hidden and doing nothing make it apparent the author is really green. Personally giving him some focus while he was being held hostage would've been the best moment to actually characterise him as he was in a situation that resulted from his own agency and would've been a better cliffhanger to last week's chapter.The art is quite good but not good enough to portray those super complex regilith designs to look good in action, most of their panels look stiff.
