She likes her gags and gimmicks and villain teams vagueposting more than she likes getting deep with it. In Sailor V the stakes were lower and there was little continuity so the villains all dying at the end as V spouts off some nonsensical one-liner were funny. The point was just to be silly and fun.Sailor Moon is far more dramatic and has more plot attached to stuff, but that isn't necessarily a good thing when everything gets more and more dire but still has the same story format. Part of the issue is probably that other than Usagi and V (who returns) none of the Senshi ever really do anything. Sailor Moon would be more fun if more of the girls had a chance to shine and take on their villain and have their own subplots. Makoto having her boyfriend despite only getting a few pages of focus stands out because it is something that the other two don't get.
