I don't know why shoseki estimates were a hundred times more inaccurate this week but kiyoshi was off by more than 2k. It's probably the same for UD and Roboco. Among its many, many story issues, Kinato and Linae shouldn't have known each other at the start. The entire appeal of these kinds of stories is seeing relationships between characters develop from the ground floor. Having them be childhood friends completely removes that hook for readers. Amamiya is either a terrible writer, he's getting terrible advice from Jump editors, or (likely) both.
