Just got home from the theater. Honestly, it was fine. Not outright bad or anything, just somewhat nice, and I was happy to get any new Madoka content after all these years.I have my complaints, mainly that it feels like literally nothing changed. Homura basically flip flopped back to maintaining the status quo, and Madoka was barely even a character. I did like the battle scenes though. They were pretty good even if they weren't quite kino on the level of the HomuMami fight from Rebellion.I'm also kind of miffed that tearing Madoka away from the Law of Cycles seemed to have literally no effect on anything and everything was going fine. Reading more spoilers i see what voice actor said was true and the movie can have different interpretations and make different points.But not all is back to chapter 12. They actually gave more info about the mistery that was Walpurgis and advanced a very important point that gave direction to this anime.I don't understand much the hate. I've slept on in and I think that I can't hate where the movie goes for, in the sense that I no longer care enough to hate it. I'm staying consciously optimistic that the execution will be much, much better than the description Rebellion + The original series will always have a special place in my heart, I guess they alone will be there together without the interference of anything new.

If the LoC is acting strange and so is Madoka near it, it's not surprising even Sayaka would be like "hey wait a minute, something isn't right.
