I wonder how much free will these spirits and summoned beings are supposed to have. Azula and Paraiso seemed to believe whoever summoned Ichika would have full control over her but Ichika's mostly listening to her summoner cause Futaba told her to and she's too clueless to do anything else. Wraith seems to treat Ichika as his master but can also wander off as he pleases, and the dead spirits Ichika's used in combat have mostly just been her giving them the power to do whatever they want.

As far as the battles for the tag goes only futa being yuri seems to manage to hold any ground, and only slightly. Overall consensus seems to be that it is only yuri if it is between two biological girls, with a lack of consensus over gender bender stuff. There are plenty of others who know far more about this than I do though.
