The only manga people should be angry still exists or gets heavily pushed is Kiyoshi. Shinobi sells better than it and isn't as heavily shilled so you can't argue that it's as disproportionately promoted. Kiyoshi just allows for more series that no one reads with a disproportionate amount of promotion like Under Doctor. You can't seriously argue that Ichi is more of an industry plant when at least it does sell. Kiyoshi is the axe line but doesn't even have the decency of being placed on the axe line like Undead Unluck was. Existers like Undead Unluck and Yozakura Family sold better than Kiyoshi. Some series that were axed during the last few years sold better.

I typically find the 1st chapter and early chapters of action/adventure shonen to be boring so I jumped to an episode in the middles of the 1st season of the anime to get a feel for where the story is going. if I like it, I'll read the manga from the 1st chapter. This is how Chads test if a manga is worth the time investment.
