I like this chapter a lot. Izutsumi is looking too far ahead and getting stressed over endless possibilities, but everybody she talks to being so focused on the present pulls her back to reality. That simple grounded perspective really helps clear things up, and then she (perhaps unwittingly) goes along and does the same for Laios. It's good, simple advice without preaching to the reader. Kui's character writing is so good at laying out stuff like this without needing long monologues, narrating that Deku punches harder when he believes in himself, or explaining the 4-minute mile barrier as a "wall" to "scale".

Joining a world that you only really know about hypothetically, the feeling that everyone around you belongs here more than you do, and (at least in my case) finding the confidence to stop doubting myself when someone else was momentarily even more listless.I just thought it was a little uncanny how much I related to Izutsumi here, but even outside of that it's a great chapter and great framing to wrap up everyone else's endings.

It's not necessarily like she's Kaoru Mori, but it's a different kind of artistic eye. Mori's stuff has so much elaboration and detail, but Kui had regularly put out stuff that makes me go "oh, that is neat." Perspective studies, transformation while picking someone up and running. Outfit studies. Anatomy studies. On and on. None of it elaborate in detail but all just "clicks." It's clear there's so much thought about how things look situated in a "real" world.
