This raises a separate problem, however, because his body fell onto the bed toward the door. If he was pulled/pushed onto it right as he was shot, sure. But that’s pure speculation. Normally you would collapse on the spot or walk away from the direction of the bullet since your head is light enough to jerk away from the direction of the impact. If it was a body shot, death would be slower, so a stagger is more believable, but a headshot doesn’t give time for that. Since there’s no splatter on the bed or window, can only use the position of the body and the bullet holes. All in all, it’s a very odd crime scene no matter how you look at it, so I’m putting my money on the artist just not doing a good job setting up a logical murder scene.

Considering the theme so far, I’m guessing the motivation was similar to the FMC’s. The wife was cheating with the victim and the husband found out.
So I take it the moral of the story is don’t even try? Bad things seem to happen whenever people make the effort to decide their own destiny instead of letting fate carry you where you belong. At the very least there wouldn’t have been another murder and possibly more murders.
