Still might be hit and miss, but the more solidly you define and describe the character the more luck you'll have. Claire here is: 1girl, black hair, messy hair, long hair, high ponytail, hair over one eye, freckles, body freckles, violet eyes, medium breasts, From there I adjust strengths based on model until she looks right. Then apply the rest of what I want her to be either in outfit or action. If you really want to define a character you can train a lora. Gen a thousand of two of your waifu, save a hundred or two that are the most canon, feed them back in and teach stable diffusion what you're looking for. I've been too lazy to do that myself, though so no idea how hard that actually is.
