Charles can always have more well kept attributes but he can also dress down. Like shorts, graphic t-shirt, socks and sandals kind of fit but his hair and glasses are well kempt since he was probably expected to keep those things looking good from his parents growing up but being well dressed didn't follow him to adulthood.

Also agree, though I imagined his glasses would be very large frames with a thin outline. But, if they're thicker, I imagine it's hard to see his pupils unless he has a strong emotional expression or cartoony reaction.
