They bust the Blob out, but the underwater facility starts to flood. Turns out, the Blob’s cries for help were sensed by an adult Leviathan. I stopped reading after that. I still have 300+ chapters and that’s only the translated ones.

And even if the ending isn’t the consequences of Ascension, do you want to miss out on hot monster romance between The Thing and The Blob? Finding the right color combo is real satisfying, that complimentary contrast was exactly what I was going for. Some of the other aliens I draw can be a little dull in color, so trying something different with a colonial organism was surprisingly fun. I always admired that ramul pic too for similar reasons, too. Purples and blues are great accents when pair with natural colors.
