You can either assimilate into a culture you could racially 'pass' for, or embrace your mixed Italian heritage. There's likely a community of other mixed italians out there, but I'm not sure how you could meet them. And no, not everyone will, nor is obligated to accept you. Italian, Greek, Scottish, English, etc, and every nation ever are themsleves a conglomeration of multiple tribes under an entirely made up identity with enough sovereignty that it became accepted as fact.
