Why are all of these things very difficult to do? If it was easy, I would've done all of these effortlessly the same way I can effortlessly do the opposite of these things. If it's due to biology, why the fuck can't we be wired to adapt to the modern world?

Let's go one by one.

>Waking up early
It's hard to change states, that's it. It's hard to go to sleep unless you're especially tired, because your body is used to being in the 'awake' state. Further, you might not be getting good sleep - if you spend all day sedentary, going to sleep isn't that different for your body, so it probably won't clock that you're in 'real' rest mode this time and won't put you into the sort of deep sleep you need to be rested. Plus, you might be waking up mid REM cycle - if you want to wake up at, say, 7AM, you should go to bed at 11:30 so you can get 7.5 hours/5 REM cycles. Waking up mid REM cycle makes you groggy and feels unsatisfying even if you slept for 16 hours.

>Studying
You probably aren't studying in a way that works for you. I have friends who work best in absolute silence because they need to be able to verbalise their work as they're writing it down. I have friends who study while walking on those mini treadmills because they need to be upright and moving in order to work. When I write my thesis, I have non-lyrical music in, usually something upbeat and classical, because I like to have auditory stimulation without any lyrics for my brain to focus on. Try out new things; and for god's sake don't just leave it to the last minute and try and cram it all in. That's not studying in the same way that flailing and hoping a wave takes you to shore isn't swimming.

>Not jerking off
I don't care about this; semen retention shit is stupid to me. No need to feel shame about wanting to nut, it's biological. If you're horny and not in a public place, jerk off to get it out of your system and go back to what you were doing. If you're constantly horny and it interferes with your life, work out why that is - it's probably because you're consuming a lot of plausibly not pornographic videos of hot chicks designed to make you horny. Block as much of that shit as you need to, it's usually not productive.

>Eating healthy
Unhealthy food is designed to be addictive and unsatisfying so you want more - if you've ever had soft drink when you needed water, you'll know this. Cognitively understand that your body continues to want unhealthy shit because it mistakenly thinks you haven't had enough, instead of understanding that it's designed to *never* be enough. Planning out your meals in advance can be useful for avoiding this.

>Consistent exercise
Depends on what sorts of exercise you're doing. It's good to get into a routine and take rest days where needed. A few weeks ago I got cocky and overextended my body, and I'm still paying for it. Don't push yourself too hard, or you won't want to come back. Exercise should be about improving yourself so your life gets better - so it's easier to move, you're happy with your appearance, girls like you, whatever. Working out shouldn't be about punishing your body, and you won't be consistent if you treat it that way.

>Not over-indulging in leisure
Your body likes doing things that make it feel good, and shit like video games are designed to give you dopamine so you keep coming back, or, ideally, never leave. Try to force yourself into a situation where you're brought back to reality sooner rather than later - play games where a run ends after 15 minutes, instead of games with hour long matches. Change your leisure activities up. I play video games, but I also do the crossword every Saturday, birdwatch, and read non-fiction books about anything I don't already know about to learn cool new things.

>Watching/reading long things
It's just practice. Based on your being here, I can imagine your age, so you've probably been primed to consume a bunch of short form content, whether video or text. Try and put yourself in situations where you're forced to engage for a while - go see a movie in cinemas so you can't skip through it. Make it a challenge - read, say, 1 long book a week for a month, then 2, then 10 in a month, etc.

Given that the activities you listed are things that normal people do with ease, I suspect that you either have some serious disability or you were raised poorly by your parents.
