I stopped taking my medication about a month ago because I felt like I didn't need it anymore and because I don't like being on them.
My mind has felt like it has been going down hill ever since. I'm not as sharp as I used to be and my emotions feel all over the place.
Is going back on them again a good idea or should I talk to my doctor?

you didn’t mention the medication. literally no one will know how to help you

You take medication to help get yourself to a good place where you don't need it anymore. If you just take it and vegetate without significantly changing your life then you have to go back on it and put in the work.

>felt good because it was working
>I don't need this any more I'm cured!
>Fuck

Many such cases. Stop being fucking stupid and discuss it with your doctor before stopping or starting any meds.
