Start small. You need exercise. Go on a short run every day. Doesn't matter how short, it can be 1 min, as long as you do it EVERY DAY. Habits are far more important than individual tasks.

Over long time periods, exercise alters the brain and makes you more confident. Trust me I was a neet rat for all my life and just started running one day 7 years ago.
