Family wants to move near a city and expects me to finish college by the time we move. But I've been struggling with college and might not be able to complish this task.Is there a way a failing collage student can get an office job?I really can't stress how much I need to get a job at an office and get this whole making parents proud bullshit overwith. I just want a break and finally live my life without more stress like this.
>>31694161Two options, from this situation:1- Change major to business administration to leverage connections and get an internship at a large company wherever you live.2 - Finish your degree and get a low-level sales job. You will learn a lot of important soft skills that you can take to many other careers.Good luck!JB2A
>>31694161Your school probably has an entire infrastructure oriented toward paid internships; go get a paid internship and then leverage that internship into a regular job and/or some kind of work-study thing and/or use your internship as experience when applying to temp agencies (which as basically internships that are not connected to your uni).I had VERY mixed results at my internship, but it was, at least, a line to put on the resume, probably helped in the long run?For vocational-type degrees like electrical engineer this works well. If you have some liberal arts thing I don't know what they'd do for an internship.
