Is this budget reasonable? I added up how much I spent and saved last month
>>32008883Why are you saving money when you are in debt? Do you not know about interest?
>>32008883Fucking 69492 a year after taxes. Kill me.
>>32008883for 1 person?
>>32008889I'm just paying the minimum for student debt since it's lower interest than I'd get from a high yield saving account or index funds etc
>>32008883>$21.24Lay off the avocado toast
>>32008883if it's just you $482 per month for food is pretty wild even in this economy. I used to spend closer to $400 when I didn't know what I was doing. My biggest issue was not knowing actual recipes and just eating random shit. Also breakfast is fucking TAXING so i cut that out now im just eating lunch and dinner.
>>32008883>>32008936$2.7k is actually very good savings though so if you wanna splurge on food then fuck it, not too big of a deal
>>32008908yes just me and my gf leaches off quite a bit>>32008936I cook in bulk, but it's all high protein meals. I guess I'll try reducing what I can. Here's what I bought today, which would last me a few days for $50
>>32008964Not sure if you have an albertsons/randalls/safeway (same company) where you live but they have really good deals on meat and produce. They always have buy 1 get 1 free and even buy 1 get 2 free deals on meat. They can do it because they overcharge for basically all the processed shit. I eat basically nothing but meat, veggies, and fruit and I save a TON at Randalls. Walmart might sound cheap because of it's reputation, but last few times i've shopped there my card got raped.
>>32008991Will look out for them, thanks man!
>>32009003these are all of their subsidiaries, i bet they're all basically the same thing but who knows
>>32008883Wtf is "Amazon" 180
>>32009410Clothes, kitchen products, supplements, toothpaste, etc
>>32008883I won't read check out my budget threads.
this is pretty decent. if you're looking to optimize more, salmon and chicken can be had for cheaper. my local supermarket has both of those for $2 less per pound. since you use amazon for routine household stuff, check out their subscribe and save options which can get you stuff for 15% off. you could also consider getting the amex blue cash preferred card which gives you 6% back on groceries. if you're spending nearly $500 on groceries each month, you'll easily get back $300+ every year even after you pay the $100 card fee
