recently, i have been extremely confused by people's intentions and my utter inability to comprehend them and it's been driving me crazy. i feel like this is an instance of cognitive dissonance of the highest degree.

it started when i was nearly fatally high, ingesting 3x normal dosage of weed for the first time. during the trip, i walked down to the convenience store in the middle of the city center, so there were a fair bit of people walking around even at 2-4AM. my head was pulsating rapidly and heavily like i was dying and, after puking there a few times, i'm sure i slurred my words when I asked for help to call the police over to take me to the hospital. i was really hurt and disappointed when people kept looking and walking by and some security guards after their shifts who walked over to look at me decided to walk by even if i remember clearly uttering "help... me... please..." no matter how slurred it must have been, i'm certain they understood my intentions but they went and left anyway. i looked and called at one convenience store clerk who came out to do something in front, who gave me the same blank stare and went back inside. when i came to around 4.30AM, i went to apologized to a clerk, who i remembered thinking was a different guy, about the puke and he said to not worry and that he'd take care of it. i was able to reason that they'd probably think of me a drunkard and i'm surw the sight of me is nothing new to them but i was still genuinely hurt nobody came to help me in anyway, not even patting my back when i was puking or bringing over some water. there was a guy who asked whether i was alright but it was after the worst of the mind-numbing waves has passed so i told him i was alright but my mind was fixated on those guys who walked by in thosd critical moments still.

but, then, when i'm high, i move on to worry about and be paranoid of whether i'm actually a burden to him or whether i would come across as weird to them, whereupon i would lose the much needed assistance i can only rely upon him in a flash. these womanly thoughts kept invading my paranoid state when i was high, but i couldn't help thinking about it. whenever i meditate on whether an action is reasonable to do, i kept reasoning how it made sense to me and, the more i mentally reinforce that, the more i lose grip on whether it makes sense to other people, even including my normal self. while i kept secretly hoping that they are, i can't shake the feeling that it could actually be the opposite and incite negative consequence back to me to what i ask of him.

the more i think about it, the more my mental state sink from its past normal and well-adjusted bearing, until all these thoughts and lines of reasoning barely even makes any sense anymore.

until i forget all this and make the mistake of asking for something unreasonable again.
