I'm currently in Brazil (I have citizenship) for vacation and I'm living like a KING.
How viable would it be to find a remote job in the USA and just living here?
I'm done living in the USA but like the USD currency.

Bump
I'm really dreading going back to the US
>>
What is your question exactly?

Not viable at all if you work for a company that is interested in keeping it's info secure or if you handle confidential or personal data.

Firms don't like customer or other personal data exiting the country, for reasons of GDPR or similar personal data regulations, and ithey especially don't like it going to grey list type places like Brazil.

Per my OP

So it isn't as easy as just connecting to the VPN and working remotely somewhere?

Sorry wanted to clarify, the VPN I'm referring to is the work VPN we use when we work remotely from home.
Second, I apologize if my questions seem silly. I'm a young guy realizing that working in the USA is going to get me nowhere in terms of achieving the things I want (home, a garage, saving up $, etc...) which are all much more obtainable making US money but living abroad.

Job-dependent to some degree, from one angle.

Some positions can allow doing shit remotely with uninhibited travel. Learning French/Spanish etc. could help too.

Look around you for American companies - everything from McDonalds to Ford. Apply.
