>>32323200That's a weapons board, this thread isn't about weapons.
>>32323067Sell me on it. I'm fairly active and thinking about joining. No purpose in life to live for.
I am the oldest of three siblings and my youngest is described pretty accurately here. He was in gifted classes early in school and has good test scores and intelligence. Early into high school like his freshman year he began drugs which helped make him an academic failure. Barely got through high school and has had one semester in college where he ended up not even completing any assignments or something. When his friend from high school would come to take him to class he was not able to sleep for whatever reason the night before so he rarely made it to class. He has a license but still doesn't drive. The other day I connected two conversations where my dad told me he refused to let him buy him a car because he wanted to himself, and another where my brother said he'd let my dad buy him a car, so he's in the clear to get a car now.He sits around and meditates and plays minecraft. He's in his late 20s and has never had a job. What little impact it has compared to what he could potentially do for himself, I think my attempts at influencing the situation has shown he's perhaps in this psychological gambit where he's not willing to make a move unless it's going to be clear in the road of success, but where day after day, year after year, that only gets more difficult and less likely to be the case, and where also of course it means he's less likely to take action, and of course results in him remaining indolent.Anyway, I think the military would be a great option if someone were to convince him to go for it. At least, there's maybe a double-digits likelihood of him coming out someone who's gonna refer to me as bud instead of my real name while living a life where he's literally swimming in vagooOur other sibling is a drug addict who's literally overdosed like 30 times btw for anyone who's wondering. Also a genius, who went to an ivy league college, but does nothing
>>32323213go back to /lgbt/ then, this board isn't about gay sex
>>32323321Your point is simply brilliant I must say sir.

These assholes are trying to get you to fight their battles for them while they sell out your country.
>>32323067Don't become a zogbot. Starve the beast.
>>32323263I think maybe with these people, normal boring shite begins to feel below them. Most people might just get through the required few years of gamesmanship because they know it'll get them to a good place eventually, but once you're damn near 30 you start thinking, I could still be doing idiot shit when I'm 35, or 40 even, and it wouldn't be befitting of me. So instead of facing it, they just stay in the sand trap.
>>32325688Actually op, please do. Feed the beast. Selective service is still on the books.>>32323333Checked
Fuck I wish I enlisted straight after high school. I wouldn't even mind working on an offshore oil rig at this point.
