I am 19 and autistic. my room is right in front of the apartment pool, and it's on the second floor. today in particular I just wanted to be left alone in my room and zone out for a bit, but then some guys started loudly having a conversation there. I don't think I've ever been as upset as I am now in months. it is truly agonizing to me when this happens, especially at a sunday night.So what do I do? I'm 19 so very dependent on my parents. I'm seriously thinking of just threatening to not do stuff to get them to move out, it is that agonizing.
Objectively speaking you're being very silly, but I feel your pain. Short of moving yourself, the best advice I have is to invest in a set of really good noise cancelling headphones. Possibly complemented by earplugs as well.

Just get any regular foam earplugs, I prefer Milwaukee if you want a brand for those. If you double up and leave the electronics off you won't be able to hear shit.
