Hey anons. I recently entered corporate world after spending majority of my 20s doing low tier labor and customer service jobs. The good thing is the pay finally allowed me to move out into my own apartment. That is the end of the good things. Everything else about it is absolute hell. Its extremely depressing unfulfilling, the workload is ridiculous, the surveillance and tracking of stats is orwellian, feels like panopticon where every last move is recorded and potentially used against you. Worst of all they have this EXTREME pressure for sales despite not marketting the job as a sales one. We have weekly and monthly quotas for sales and I've been horrible at it. I'm potentially going to get fired soon and desu i find it hard to even care because the job is so so so so so fucking horrible. Honestly i miss my old jobs so much now. Other than the pay there is not a single good thing about doing this job. Every day I want to smash my work computer and just go home. Every night I want to shoot myself in the face. How do I escape this hell and not end up homeless?
>>32326342Concentrate on being the best and don’t worry about numbers. You are a dummy to finally get your own apartment. You could have helped whoever you were freeloading off of, just a little bit, and start banking the fuck out of the rest. Park it in an investment for a couple years, buy a house with cash and rent it out. Get an equity loan to buy another and let your tenant pay for that. Turtles all the way down. Hire a property manager and never deal with shit. Quit your job and take up whatever makes you happy, just to get enough money to keep feeding your stonks.
>>32326512>You could have helped whoever you were freeloading offNice making huge assumptions about me dude. I wasnt freeloading off of anyone, actually I was paying rent and bills for both myself AND a family member who was constantly coming up short when it was time to pay. I moved to my own apartment because at this point it was actually cheaper and its closer to my new job. Also he was a hoarder and very frustrating to live with.>Get an equity loan to buy another and let your tenant pay for that. Turtles all the way down. Hire a property manager and never deal with shit. Quit your job and take up whatever makes you happy, just to get enough money to keep feeding your stonks. Thanks thats some good advice
>>32326572My assumption is based on information provided.>pay finally allowed me to move outNow you provide updates.>at this point it was actually cheaperYou assume too much about my assumptions.Have a bump.
>>32327143Ah yeah i see now. It essentially because I was making just enough money to pay each month with nothing left over. I couldn't afford to pay down payment/security deposit to move out afterwards, so i was stuck in a vicious cycle.Ty for bump
>>32327260Well, maybe you can get some XP and find a more chill but similar job.
