is having 10k in your bank enough to move to a new city and study something new?

I don't really know, maybe idk perhaps you can

Depends on the city and what you want to do. I moved to Dallas with about 11k in the bank and did quite well for myself. By the same token I know I'd have struggled if I moved to, say, LA or NYC with the same amount.

Well, yes, beyond any shadow of a doubt... I moved across the U.S. and it was about $1k without taking any particular steps to keep it cheap, although I don't have as much shit as some people. Spent maybe another $1k before I got a decent job. Just try to find good roommates, don't just jump into a random expensive situation like a dumbass.

Yes,
Look before you leap... you could be letting yourself in for years of bitter struggle by saying "fall is really beautiful in [X city]" or "{Y} sounds like such a great place in your 20's." This is the equivalent of paying $50,000 more for a car because it's red, but people do it every day

You can do it if you are already clever enough to have tenK.
