I'm overweight, and I decided to start going to the gym, I barely go every other day (3 hours a week) and I started going on walks more often (barely around 2 miles daily).
Recently I got jock itch, and I'm using some lotrimin (which seemed to work) and everything seemed to go fine, but I got it again some days after finishing the treatment (maybe I did it wrong, or something). I usually took a shower before going to work in the morning, and another one after coming back from the gym at night, but I'm not sure if that's a bad idea (I have really bad B.O. so if I don't shower for a while even I can feel it and it's annoying). I'm not sure if it's a good idea to take baths so often, or if I should do something else, I mean, the showers after the gym are a must for me (because I come back home really damp in sweat) and I guess I should apply my treatment after the shower then, but I'm not sure on what to do on the remaining days. Should I skip showers and just clean the affected areas before my cream applications? or is it fine to continue bathing 1-2 times daily? Also, is it fine to use the athlete foot cream instead of the jock itch one? They ran out of that one on the local pharmacies (so I would have to rely on amazon or something else if I want more), and I mean... it seems to be "the same thing" (but I'm not too smart and I might be probably wrong).

I won't read what amounts to how do I wipe my ass threads, especially wall-of-text ones.

you need to shower every. single. day. every day. before you climb your fat, sweaty, stinking, cheese dick ass into bed to sleep you need to wash yourself you lazy fucking sack of shit.
EVERY
SINGLE
DAY

>jock itch
wash your fuckin feet and put on socks BEFORE you put on underwear when getting dressed and wear CLEAN shower shoes if you are showering at the gym. you generally get jock itch from being barefoot in public showers and it gets transferred from your nasty ass feet to your underwear/pants and then to your nuts

yeah but...
is there no problem to taking showers more than once every day?
I mean, I heard you can get issues with bathing too often (I already bathe daily).

I started doing this, even thou I didn't see any symptoms on my feet (no itch, no pain, no cracked skin at all) but I can't discard it came back right away because of doing this. I don't take a shower at the gym either (I live 2 blocks from the gym, I just walk to my house at less than 5 mins from there) and I usually use bleach to clean my bathroom floor, and don't go in barefoot either, but you are probably right, it has been like 2 days and the itch from my groin is gone, but I'm going to continue the treatment and take these precautions, thank you for the tip.
For now I'm taking 2 showers at day (1 before going to work and another one after coming back from the gym, because I usually sweat at night while sleeping, even when it's cold now because it's winter in here).
