bottles are bad for pouring, this is why every bar you go to has narrow "you can't spill" pour spouts on top of all their bottles.

For a home bar where that'd be overkill, pour into either a shot glass or jigger before putting it in whatever cup you're planning to drink out of, this ensures consistency of your pour. The sharper edge of a glass vs a bottle usually comes with better accuracy.
