I choose to study at home and live in complete isolation due to having no self-discipline. This has been detrimental to my mental health obviously, and I feel like the weight of my loneliness is going to crush me soon. I'm not lagging behind in my studies so I'm not going to drop out, but I can't bring myself to go to uni for even one day. It demands so much energy just to have a lecture about something I could just study at home.

If I had friends it would obviously be easier but I don't have the ability to initiate any conversations let alone maintain them. I don't have the energy for that either.

most people spend money to go to college, so not wasting your money is a good motivator

Exact same issue, Germanfag here. I hate going into lectures only to have my attention drift for a few minutes only to not understand the rest of the lecture. Friends would help but even as a pretty attractive extrovert I haven't made more than 5-7 acquaintances in uni, and at best 1-2 friends who also study at home. These people are asocial retards that already have their core friend groups and they don't seem to want to interact with other people. Might just be due to me studying CompSci tho.

Look what im going to say can apply to everything else in your life
The stuff you don't want to do, you have to force yourself to do it, because you'll feel better once you do it.
When you stop putting it off and delve into it you are going to feel better.
And you'll say "Oh I just can't I got no motivation" and I know, I understand, but you have to learn to not rely on motivation as it is wildly inconsistent.
So do whatever it takes, set a million alarms on your phone/clock, lay out your clothes so its easy to get dressed, just whatever you know will get you out of bed or the house, you have to do it.

Knowing what the lecture is going to be about beforehand and going into it prepared helps a lot with this.

I've become forced to seek tutoring at school and it has helped so much that
