For the past four or so days my left bicep has inexplicably been twitching. Not just a part of it— though the extent of fibers engaged in the behavior varies— but the whole thing at times. It’s something I easily feel as the whole muscle moves, or as a more superficial part of it twitches. I haven’t had any other symptoms, and today I checked for muscle weakness and found none. Twitching seems to follow a schedule of occurring in the morning to a mild/moderate extent, calming down midday and fading, then reoccurring as the hours draw late, reaching peak about sundown and around midnight as I try to sleep. No pain, no cramps, just a bit of distress as to not knowing why it’s happening.

So, /adv/, what do you think it is? Should I see doctor to determine if I have ALS or some other disease? Am kill?

Only potential explanations I can think of is that it started happening after I woke up with numb arms from sleeping weird for like an hour or so. So maybe it could be transient nerve damage. Or it could be from lifting something a while back without stretching first. Haven’t been engaging in regular physical activity though, and lifted days before twitching began.
